About The Artist Hello! My name is Efterpi. I come from Greece, a region called Glyfada, near Athens. I grew up in Greece and later in the south of France (Marseilles and Nice), where my father was performing as a jazz musician back in the late 1960's. My passion has always been to paint on wood; I have been inspired by Greek Contemporary Art, in particular, Konstantinos Volanakis and Theophillos Hadzimihalis. I live in New York, in a picturesque little town by the Hudson called Stony Point, about 30 miles from Manhattan. I now invite you to my gallery, and I hope you enjoy it!
